Waabooz Run Co. started with a nickname my father gave me when I was 14. Waabooz means rabbit, and he called me that because I was always running. That nickname grew into something much bigger, and honestly, I can't think of a more fitting name for this little adventure.
I've made countless "team" and "support crew" shirts for my family over the years, and runners and spectators kept stopping us to ask where we got them. Well, now they have a place to go!
The shop is also part passion project, part marathon fund. One of my biggest bucket-list goals is to complete all 6–8 Abbott World Marathon Majors and earn that coveted Abbott medal! 🏅 The shop helps me cover the costs of chasing that goal, including the occasional charity bib that gets me into the races along the way.
